Police Officer Jeffrey Fortemps has recently completed a 40-hour class in Child Passenger Safety at the Bergen County Police Academy. He is now a certified technician and is able to:

•  Select appropriate child restraints for children.

•  Install child restraint systems in multiple types of vehicles.

•  Teach others how to install child restraint systems.

•  Organize and coordinate a child restraint system checkup event.

•  Serve as a resource to the community relative to chills passenger safety.
